About the product
It's the practical companion portal to the book The Control Standard. It runs as one closed loop: learn the standard, diagnose where your work is drifting, apply it to real projects, track the trend over time, and decide which recurring pain is worth systemising. See how it works.
No. The interactive courses teach the standard from the ground up — they're designed to stand on their own. Reading The Control Standard deepens it, but the portal never assumes you have.
No — and deliberately so. It's a control layer that sits above the tools you already use. It isn't a task tracker, a Kanban board, or a CRM, and it doesn't try to replace Jira, Asana, Monday, Notion or your inbox. It answers a question those tools can't: is this work genuinely under control, or are we just busy around it?
The Drift Report rates how under-control a piece of work is across the ten disciplines and hands back a named status. The Pain Automation Score takes one recurring pain and gives an honest read on whether software, process, or neither is the right fix. Both are free and need no account.
It's the core logged-in tool: a scored, ten-discipline read on a real project, gated by a confirmed mission. You re-score it on a cadence — each scoring is a check-in — and the portal keeps every check-in so you can watch the trend rise or fall over weeks and months.
A quiet place to capture moments of friction the instant they bite — in one line, no forms. On a cadence you choose, the Systemise Review walks you through what you logged and gives each pain a verdict: live with it, write it down, build a mechanism, or it's worth software. It's free on every plan.

Plans & billing
The diagnostics and the Friction Log are free. Beyond that there's a free tier, an Individual plan for running the standard on your own work, and Team plans for running it across a group. See full pricing.
Unlimited Drift Report and Pain Automation diagnostics, five Control Index snapshots, the first two interactive courses, the Chapter 1 assessment, the printable Pocket Standard, and the full Friction Log. Enough to try the standard on real work before paying anything.
Yes. The free tier lets you try the core loop at no cost, and a new Individual subscription is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee, so the first paid step is genuinely low-risk.
Because card billing isn't switched on yet, and we won't fake-launch a plan. While a plan is pre-launch you can join its waitlist — you'll be told before billing ever starts, with the chance to opt out.
Yes, at any time. Everyone already belongs to an organisation, so upgrading just changes the plan — your projects, check-in history, course progress and certificate all stay exactly where they are. The unused part of your individual year is applied as credit, and you see the maths before anything is charged.
Yes. Courses you've completed and any certificate you've earned stay yours. Lapsing only gates ongoing project tracking and new content — never the learning you've already done.
03
For teams
No. We don't track activity, time, or messages. The team scores their own work against the standard, and drift is always named at the work — "this item is drifting" — never at the person. It's a coaching layer, not a surveillance tool.
A team dashboard that rolls every project up by latest score, a needs-review inbox that surfaces what's drifting across the org, an optional weekly digest email, and the Manager Brief — three sentences of 1:1 prep for any direct report.
Set up a workspace on a Team plan and invite people by email. New joiners pick up the same standard the same way through the courses, so it doesn't fall to you to re-teach it each time.
Yes — OIDC and SAML single sign-on are available on the Scale plan, configured per organisation, with just-in-time provisioning and an audit trail of every assertion.
Yes — a read-only REST API on the Business plan and above. It exposes your project, check-in, control-point and training data with bearer-token auth, so you can feed it into BI tools, internal dashboards and AI workflows.

Data & security
Your data is scoped to your organisation — every record is tenant-isolated, and projects can be further restricted to a subset of the org. Diagnostic submissions are never publicly visible.
Yes. Two-factor authentication is opt-in per user, with an authenticator-app or email-code option, and an organisation can enforce it for everyone. Trusted devices can be remembered and revoked individually.
Sensitive secrets — such as authenticator seeds and integration keys — are encrypted at rest. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, never in plain text.
No. We don't sell personal data. Marketing email is opt-in with explicit consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Get in touch through the contact page and we'll handle account closure and data deletion. See the privacy policy for the detail.
