Honest answers
Will the diagnostics ever sit behind a paywall?
No. The Drift Report and "Should you automate this?" are the practical companions to the book and stay free and unlimited. The Control Index gives you 5 free snapshots; paid plans lift that to unlimited and add tracking and team collaboration.
What happens after my first year on Individual?
First year £149 includes all ten courses, every chapter assessment and your certificate. From year two it renews at £59/year, which keeps project tracking, trends and any new course content. Completed courses and your certificate stay yours either way. Renewals are never charged without telling you first.
Do I keep my courses if I stop paying?
Yes. Courses you've completed and any certificate you've earned stay yours. Renewal only gates ongoing project tracking and new content — never the learning you've already done.
Why are the paid plans marked "coming soon"?
Because billing isn't switched on yet. We won't fake-launch a plan. Join the waitlist and you'll be told before billing starts, with the chance to opt out.
What's the difference between Team and Advisory?
Team is the product on its own — your team using the tool, ~£13.80/seat. Advisory is a different proposition entirely: a Scorchsoft engagement to build the portal, workflow, or dashboard when the drift is software-shaped. Bespoke builds typically scope from £15k.
I signed up as Individual but want my team on it — what now?
You can upgrade to Team at any time. Your projects, history, course progress and certificate all carry over, and the unused part of your Individual year is applied as credit against the Team plan. You'll see the maths before anything is charged.
Is this employee monitoring?
No. We don't track activity, time or messages. The team scores their own work against the standard. Drift is named at the work, not the person.
